I've been working on something behind the scenes and I'm really excited to finally share it.

I made a podcast 🙌 It's called Workaround.

In my work as a career coach, I hear stories of people making big changes all the time. I also know that many people feel alone in those moments of navigating change, questioning everything, not sure if what they want is realistic, wondering if anyone else has felt this way.

If you've ever caught yourself daydreaming about a career change and then immediately talked yourself out of it, this podcast is for you.

In Workaround, I sit down with people who've made big moves and ask them to share what actually happened: when they first noticed and admitted that something needed to change, how they made their decisions, what was hard about it, and what life looks like now. These are insightful chats with people who chose to do something difficult and are willing to talk about it openly.

These conversations give me energy. There's something about hearing someone describe the moment they finally trusted themselves that I never get tired of. And I hope that hearing someone else's story can help people find the inspiration and maybe the courage to take the leap themselves.

In this first episode, I talk to my friend Fátima about leaving the startup world and taking on a Communications Director role for Volt at the EU Parliament 🇪🇺 It was a move that meant changing countries and letting go of a work identity she'd built over a decade.

I’m super grateful to Fátima for being my very first guest and sharing her story so openly.

Listed to Workaround on Spotify, Apple Podcasts or Deezer.

For now, this is an experiment and your feedback will help me shape it, so if you listen, please let me know what you think. And if there's someone whose career story you think deserves to be heard, I’d love to know about it.

And of course, if you know anyone who needs to hear this, please send it their way.

Happy listening!
